March 31, Mr. Gordon Johndroe visited SIIS. Mr. Johndroe was Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy White House Press Secretary in the Bush Administration. He also served as the Spokesman for the National Security Council (NSC). During his visit, he talked with Dr. Ye Qing, Deputy Director, Institute of Global Governance, Dr. Wu Chunsi, Deputy Director, Institute of Foreign Policy, Dr. Shao Yuqun, Deputy Director, Institute of Taiwan, HK & Macau Studies and Mr. Zha Xiaogang from the Institute of World Economy about issues in the Sino-U.S. relations and the future development of this bilateral relationship.
