April 27, Prof. Daniel Bach of Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux visited SIIS, and had a discussion with Dr. Zhang Chun, Deputy Director of Center for West Asian-African Studies and fellow Mr. Zhu Ming on the issues of the relationships between China and Africa and the relationships between Africa and European Union. Prior to the discussion, Prof. Bach gave a lecture at SIIS on the theme of “Africa in international relations: contending representations and interactions with the continent”.
