January 28, Dr. Mathieu Duchatel, Senior Researcher and Head of China and International Peace and Security Project at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) visits SIIS and discusses with Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Director of the Center for Asian-Pacific Studies, Dr. Qiang Xiaoyun, Deputy Director of the Center for Russian & Middle Asia Studies and Dr. Wang Weihua, Assistant Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies on China’s foreign policy towards the Central Asia, China’s energy strategy and some other issues.
