June 2, Cosponsored by SIIS, Japanchina-mirai, and Shanghai Society for Japan Studies, the International Conference on "How to Break the Deadlock of Sino-Japan Relation" is held in SIIS. Prof. Wu Jinan, Deputy Director of the SIIS Consulting Committee and also the President of the Shanghai Society for Japan Studies and Mr. Yokobori Katsumi, representative of Japanchina-mirai deliver the opening remarks. The Conference invites 30 experts from China and Japan to have a deep discussion on the history and current situation of the Diaoyu Island, recent changing political situation of Japan, and the future of China-Japan relation.
