October 19, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Delegation, led by Mr. P Kurt Beck, Former Chairman of German Social Democratic Party and currently Chairman of the FES, pays a visit to SIIS. The delegation exchanges views with Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS and Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs on new model of major power relationship between China and the U.S., the perspective on EU’s integration and the impact of the election in Germany, etc. Dr. Zhang Yinghong and Dr. Fang Xiao, Director and Deputy Director of the Center for European studies, Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Department of Research Management & International Exchange also attend the meeting.
