SIIS holds Academic Seminar on “China-Central & Eastern Europe Countries Economic and High tech Park Development”

On June 11, SIIS holds Academic Seminar on “China-Central & Eastern Europe Countries Economic and High tech Park Development”. Participants from SIIS, the Polish Institute of International Affairs, China Academy of Social Science, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of Ministry of Commerce, Tongji University, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai Academy of Social Science, the Office of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and CEE Countries of European Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs have a warm discussion on ongoing development of China-Poland and China-CEE countries economic cooperation: process and challenges, Chinese enterprises and Chinese direct investment: willingness, capability and obstacles, the 16+1 mechanism and implementation of Bucharest Guidelines: content, achievements,prospects, China-CEE countries relations in the context of China-EU Strategic Partnership. Dr. Zhang Yinghong, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies chairs the meeting. Prof. Ye Jiang, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Prof. Zhang Haibing, Executive Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, Dr. Fang Xiao and Dr. Long Jing, both Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies attend the meeting.
