On March 27, Ziad Haider, policy planning staff of the U.S. Department of State met with President Chen Dongxiao and discussed issues regarding the “Belt and Road” initiative, BRICS Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Zhao Gancheng, director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, Zha Xiaogang, Ye Yu and Wang Yuzhu from the Institute for World Economy Studies attended the meeting.
