From April 23 to 24, SIIS and FES jointly organized the international workshop on “How to Re-energize G20? China’s Presidency in 2016 and its Agenda”. Researchers and experts from EFS, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), IMF, Brookings Institute and The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), Chinese Academy of Social Science, Shanghai Academy of Social Science, Renmin University, Fudan University and SIIS attended the conference. The two-day workshop discussed the evaluation of the G20 performance, G20 governance in currency and finance, G20 governance in trade, growth and development, etc.
