On June 17^th, SIIS held joint workshop with James Baker Institute for Public Policy of Rice University (BIPP). Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS and Mr. Allen Matusow delivered opening remarks. Participants from SIIS and BIPP had discussion on issues such as US presidential election, China-US relations, China-US cooperation in the Middle East, international scientific cooperation and policies towards Latin America.
