From June 21 to June 27, Mr. Alexandru Georgescu and Prof. Radu Musetescu, scholars from EURISC, Romanian think tank, visited SIIS. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with them. During their stay, they attended the meeting with H.E. Danilo Turk, former Slovenian President, talked about CEE, economic and security issues, One Belt One Road initiative with Prof. Ye Jiang, Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Zhang Chun, Deputy Director of the Center for West Asian & African Studies, Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies, Dr. Zha Xiaogang from the Institute for World Economy Studies. Besides, the two scholars visited Shanghai Institute for European Studies and respectively gave lectures entitled One Belt One Road and New Opportunity, Crisis of Ukraine to members from the Center for European Studies and young scholars from SIIS.
