On July 8^th, Shanghai Institutes for International Strategic Studies held a workshop on the 70th Anniversary Commemoration of China's victory against Japanese invasion. General Su Rong, former Deputy Commander of Naval Base in Shanghai was invited to give a speech on his experience during the Anti-Japanese War. Senior research Wu Jinan had discussed the issue of China-Japan relations with the participants. Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the SIIS Academic Committee  chaired the discussion.
