SIIS C0-Held International Conference on Global Governance and Development

On Oct. 25th-26th,Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) co-held an international conference “Global Governance and Development Issue for a Shared Future”. Representatives from government departments, international think tanks, academic organizations attended the conference and shared their opinions. President Chen Dongxiao and Mr. Mark Suzman, President of Global Policy, Advocacy and Country Programs, BMGF gave opening speeches. Amb. Wu Hongbo, UN Under-Secretary-General, Mr. Vuk JEREMIC, former Serbian Foreign Minister, and Mr. Geng Shuang, Deputy Director of the Department of International Economics, Chinese Foreign Ministry gave keynote speeches. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council made the concluding remarks.
