On Dec. 16^th, Prof. Казанцев Андрей Анатольевич, Director of the Research Center of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (Московский государственный институт международных отношений) led a delegation of 5 scholars to visit SIIS, and met with Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the SIIS Academic Committee. Prof. Li Xin, Director of the Center for Russia and Central Asia chaired the discussion with the delegation on the issues of cooperation between China and Russia in central Asia, the SCO's development, and etc. Scholars from Shanghai Academy of Social Science and East China Normal University  participated in the meeting.
