On December. 3^rd, Mr. Stephen Lillie, Director of Asia Pacific Directorate of the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office visited SIIS, and had discussion on the issues of China-UK Relations and the situation in Asia-Pacific region with President Chen Dongxiao and Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the SIIS Academic Committee. Mr. John Edwards, British Consul-General in shanghai participated in the meeting.
