Delegation of the Indian Scholars Visits SIIS

On Dec. 21st, Prof. Brig Vinod Anand, Senior Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF, New Delhi) led a delegation of 28 Indian scholars to visit SIIS. Delegations members from the Vivekananda International Foundation(VIF), the Observer Research Foundation(ORF), the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA),the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS),the Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), and the Institue of Peace and Confilict Studies(IPCS) exchanged views with research fellows of SIIS on the issues of the anti-terrorism situation worldwide and global governance. President Chen Dongxiao chaired the discussion. SIIS research fellows such as Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, Prof. Ye Jiang, Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Prof. Wu Chunsi, Directer of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Prof. Ye Qing, Director of the Center for West Asian & African Studies, and Prof. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Center for American Studies participated in the meeting.
The delegation was organized by the Embassy of P.R. China in India.
