On Dec. 29^th, Brig. Hassan Azhar Hayat, Defense Attache in Pakistan's embassy in Beijing visited SIIS, delivered a lecture on “Counter Terrorism Experience and Pakistan Context”, and exchanged views with research fellows of SIIS. Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies chaired the discussion. SIIS research fellows such as Prof. Ye Qing, Director of the Center for West Asian & African Studies, and Prof. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Center for American Studies participated in the meeting.
