On Dec. 30^th, Prof. Liu Yi, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Bogazici University (Turkey) visited SIIS, delivered a lecture on his experiences of setting up the Confucius Institute in Turkey, and exchanged views on China-Turkey Relations and the Middle East issue with research fellows of SIIS. Prof. Ye Qing, Director of the Center for West-Asian & African Studies chaired the discussion.
