On Jan 14^th, Mr. Steven Angel, defense liaison officer from the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai visited SIIS and exchanged views on North Korea nuclear issue, Asian security and US defense policy with Dr. Niu Haibin, deputy director of Center for American Studies, and Dr. Xue Chen, Research Fellow of the Institute for International Strategic Studies.
