On Jan 15^th, Ambassador Lu Qiutian, former President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), former Ambassador to German, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Romania visited SIIS. Ambassador Lu met with President Chen Dongxiao and delivered a speech to SIIS research fellows and graduate students on “Differences between the East and West: cultures and minds”. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of Academic Council of SIIS moderated the speech.
