On March 24, 2016, led by Prof. Un-Chul Yang, Vice President of the Sejong Institute (ROK), a group of research fellows of the institute visited SIIS. They had a discussion with President Chen Dongxiao and his colleagues on China-ROK relations, DPRK-ROK relations after the missile launch and the THAAD missile defense system issue etc.
