On March 9, 2016, led by Ambassador Nalin Surie, Director General of the Indian Committee of World Affairs (ICWA), former Indian Ambassador to China, an Indian thinktank delegation visited SIIS. President Chen Dongxiao hosted a roundtable discussion joined by Prof. Zhao Gancheng and Prof. Liu Zongyi etc. from the SIIS side on China-India economic relations, comparison of the Indo-Pacific and Asia-Pacific region, the New Development Bank and the BCIM economic corridor.
