On March 10, 2016, headed by Brigadier General Christopher A. Coffelt, Commandant of the Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, a delegation of the college visited SIIS escorted by Mr. Steven Angel, defense liaison officer from the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai. The members of the Air War College had a discussion with Prof. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Prof. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Macao and Hongkong Studies, Prof. Tang Weihong, Deputy Director of the Institute for Public Policy Studies etc. on China’s policy toward DPRK, cyber security and U.S. presidential election.
