On March 18, 2016, a delegation of UAE National Defense College visited SIIS. Led by Brigadier General Pilot Salim Saeed Alshamsi, Commander of the Studies and Research Wing at the UAE National Defense College, the delegation was composed of more than 20 officers and students. They had a discussion with Prof. Li Weijian, Center for West Asian and African Studies and Prof. Shao Yuqun, Center for American Studies etc. on the transformation of China’s economy and foreign policy.
