On April 21, 2016, led by Mr. JUNG Ku-Hyun, President of the Seoul Forum for International Affairs, a senior delegation of ROK scholars visited SIIS. Distinguished members include Mr. Park Inkook, President of Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies, Mr. YOON Young-kwan, Professor Emeritus of International Relations, Seoul National University, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade,Mr. KIM Sung-han, Professor, GSIS, Korea University, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Mr. Chung Jae Ho, Director of the Program on US-China Relations, Seoul National University etc. President Chen Dongxiao chaired the meeting joined by SIIS fellows including Prof. Shao Yuqun, director of the Institute for Taiwan, Macao and Hongkong Studies, Prof. Gong Keyu, deputy director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies and their colleagues. The two sides had a discussion on Korean Peninsular issue, political situation in DPRK and U.S.-China relations etc.
