Members of German Parliament Visited SIIS

On June 13, 2016, MP Mr. Omid Nourpour, spokesperson on Foreign Policy of Green Party, and MP Ms. Michelle
Müntefering， the SPD parliamentary group’s spokesperson for Cultural and Education Policy Abroad visited SIIS, escorted by officials from German Consulate-General in Shanghai. President Chen Dongxiao hosted a meeting with the group and had a discussion on the U.S. general election, renationalization in the Europe, the Syria issue etc. Ms. Li Fangxia, deputy director of the department for external affairs, Dr. Xue Lei and Dr. Xu Cong from Institute of World Economic Studies also joined the meeting.
