On April 29, 2016, Mr. Bryan Miller, analyst of Northeast Asia, Asia-Pacific & Americas Division, Government of Canada Privy Council Office visited SIIS. He had a discussion with Prof. Wu Chunsi, director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, and Dr. Pan Xiaoming from the Institute for World Economic Studies on Japan’s political and military influence in the Asia-Pacific region, China’s perspective on TPP, RCEP and “One Belt One Road” initiative etc.
