Scholar from the Asia Pacific Center for the Responsibility to Protect, University of Queensland (Australia) visits SIIS

On May 6, Ms. Sarah Teitt, deputy director of the Asia Pacific Center for the Responsibility to Protect, University of Queensland (Australia) visited SIIS. She had a discussion with Dr. Jin Liangxiang and Mr. Song Qing from the Center for West Asian and African Studies on the relations of Non-interference Principle and Responsibility to Protect regarding China’s policy on Syria. Ms. Teitt also had a meeting with Prof. Zhang Chun, deputy director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies and Dr. Xue Lei from the Institute for World Economic Studies on China’s principles and policies on Africa, and policy on the participation in the U.N. peacekeeping operations etc.
