On June 4, 2016, Dr. Ohashi Masaaki, professor from University of the Sacred Heart (Japan) visited SIIS. Prof. Yu Hongyuan, director of the Institute for Public Policy Studies hosted a meeting. Prof. Masaaki   delivered a speech on the international engagement of Japanese NGOs and their communication and cooperation with Japanese government etc. He also interacted with the audience including SIIS researchers and scholars from other institutions.
