On June 13, 2016, Mr. Florin Marius Tacu, State Secretary of Romania，former Romanian Consul-General in Shanghai visited SIIS. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Council had a meeting with Mr. Tacu which was joined by Dr. Long Jing, deputy director of the Center for European Studies. The two sides had a discussion on China-Romania relations, cooperation with China and Central and East European Countries, China’s “One Belt and One Road” initiative etc.
