On September 20, 2016, a delegation of the Bertelsmann Stiftung (Germany) visited SIIS. Representatives of the Foundation included Mr. Andre as Esche, Dr. Ulrich Schoof and Dr. Cora Jungbluth. They introduced the operation and concentration of the foundation. Prof. Zhang Haibing, director of the Institute for World Economic Studies, Prof. Zhang Yinghong, director of the Center for European Studies and their colleagues had a discussion with German scholars on the future of MEGA-FTA and Brexit etc. Mr. Lu Xiankun, Partner of the International Trade-Development and Economic Governance-Advisory Service also joined the meeting.
