On October 27, the SIPRI Yearbook 2016 was presented by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (Sweden) and SIIS. Dr. Lora Saalmon, senior fellow and director for China and Global Security of SIPRI gave an introduction of the main points and writing process. More than 20 invitees including scholars from SIIS, Fudan University, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and media professionals participated in the discussion on issues of international security.

SIPRI Yearbook 2016 is a compendium of data and analysis in the areas of security and conflicts, military spending and armaments, non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament.
