On November 11, 2016, Afghan Ambassador to China, Mr. Janan Mosazai visited SIIS. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Affairs Council had a discussion with Ambassador Mosazai on China-Afghanistan relations, communications between SIIS and Afghan think tanks, and the U.S. presidential election etc. Dr. Wang Weihua from the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, SIIS also attended the meeting.
