On November 11, 2016, Indian Ambassador to China, Mr. Shri Vijay Gokhale visited SIIS. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Affairs Council had a meeting with Ambassador Gokhale. The two sides had a discussion on China-India relations, practical cooperation and the future of U.S. foreign policy etc. Dr. Wang Weihua from the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, SIIS also attended the meeting.
