On November 17, 2016, Dr. Jeremy Ward, Ms. Bodhi Dharmatilake, and Mr. Ben Cooper, policy analysts from the Department of Defense of Australia visited SIIS escorted by Ms. Victoria C. Todd, First Secretary Defense, Australian Embassy in China. They had a discussion with Prof. Zhao Gancheng, Dr. Xue Chen and Dr. Feng Shuai, researchers of the Institute for International Strategic Studies on the future of China-U.S. relations, regional security architecture in Asia-Pacific etc.
