On Dec. 15, 2016, a delegation of Indian think tanks led by Anil Chopra, Indian Air Marshal (retired) & senior fellow of the Gateway House visited SIIS. President Chen Dongxiao met with the delegation and had a discussion on the upcoming U.S. administration, globalization, and “One Belt and One Road” Initiative etc. Prof. Shao Yuqun, Prof. Wu Chunsi, Prof. Zhang Haibing, Prof. Liu Zongyi，Dr. Wang Yuzhu from SIIS and Mr. Dhaval Desai, Senior Fellow and Vice President of Observer Research Foundation Mumbai, Mr. Madhav Bhandari, State Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party in Maharashtra, and Mr. Zahra Latif, Head of Operations of the Gateway House also participated in the meeting.
