On March 10, 2017, Dr. Aaron Klein, economist of the Brookings Institution (U.S.) visited SIIS. He had a discussion with Chinese scholars on economic policy and China-U.S. economic relations under the Trump administration. Prof. Yu Hongyuan, director of the Institute for Comparative Politics and Public Policy and his colleagues from SIIS, Fudan University and Shanghai Institute for American Studies attended the meeting.
