On March 16, 2017, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Council of Academic Affairs met with Ms. Kate White, Head of China Department, FCO of the UK. They had a discussion on China-US relations and regional hotspot issues. Mr. John Edwards, Consul-General of the UK in Shanghai also attended the meeting.
