On March 17, 2017, more than 20 attendees of the 2017 Seminar on Egypt’s Trade Negotiation and Promotion hosted by China’s Commerce Ministry visited SIIS. Ambassador Liu Youfa, SIIS non-resident senior fellow, gave a speech on the Belt and Road Initiative: Its Impact on Sino-Egypt Trade Relations for the audience. Dr. Liu also had interactions with Egyptian officials.
