On March 21, 2017, President Chen Dongxiao met with Prof. Jan Svejnar, James T. Shotwell Professor of Global Political Economy and Director of the Center on Global Economic Governance at Columbia University. Prof. Svejnar gave a lecture on European and American economy and had interaction with research fellows from the Institute for World Economy Studies and the Institute for Global Governance Studies. Prof. Zhang Haibing, Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, chaired the lecture. Mr. Richard Krpac, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai also attended the lecture.
