On May 3-4, 2017, SIIS and CSIS co-hosted the fifth round of U.S.-China Dialogue on the Global Economic Order in Washington D.C.  More than 20 invitees attended the meeting including former governmental officials and think tank fellows from the U.S. and Chinese scholars from SIIS, CASS, Renmin University and Tianjin University etc. The participants had a discussion on the leadership transitions in the U.S. and China, macroeconomic and financial policy, infrastructure investment and sustainable development, managing trade and investment policy in a time of rising competition etc.
