On May 25, 2017, a delegation of National Autonomous University of Mexico 
visited SIIS led by Prof. Francisco Trigo, Vice President of UNAM. The UNAM 
group had a discussion with SIIS Assistant President Ye Qing, Prof. Niu Haibin, de
puty director of Center for American Studies and Ms. Huang Fangfang on China-
Mexico relations, US-Mexico relations, and populism in Latin America etc. Prof. Su
n Yanfeng, deputy director of the Institute for Latin American Studies, China
 Institutes of Contemporary International Relations attended the meeting.
