On August 24, 2017, Ms. Amy McAuliffe, Chair of the U.S. National Intelligence Council led a group to SIIS. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao hosted a meeting with the NIC delegation. The two sides had a discussion on China-US relations. Prof. Ye Qing, Assistant President, Prof. Shao Yuqun, director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong and Macau Studies and Dr. Zhang Zhexin also participated in the meeting.
