From August 23-26, 2017, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Council of SIIS Academic Affairs visited Norway and Demark. In Norway, Prof. Yang Jiemian met with Mr. Børge Brende, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Wegger Chr. Strømmen, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms. Tine Mørch Smith, Director General of the Department for Regional Affairs. Prof. Yang also gave presentation for the Norwegian Government’s inter-ministerial China group and for the Heads of Missions Annual Meeting.

Prof. Yang also made a presentation at the Asia House for the experts on China studies.
