On September 14, 2017, SIIS Vice President Yan Anlin met with the delegation of Center for Uzbekistan Development Strategy headed by Executive Director Akmal Burkhanov. The two sides exchanged ideas on China-Uzbekistan relations, Belt and Road Initiative, and the cooperation between the two institutes. Director Li Xin, Deputy Director Qiang Xiaoyun and research fellow from the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies attended the meeting.
