On September 27, 2017, Chairman of BMC and AK Party Central Decision & Board Member of Turkey, Ethem Sancak and his colleagues visited SIIS. SIIS assistant president Ye Qing met with the delegation. The two sides had a discussion on China-Turkey cooperation in the framework of Belt and Road Initiative, American policy toward the Middle East and Kurd issue etc. Prof. Jin Liangxiang, Prof. Li Weijian, Ms. Liu Xin and Dr. Zhang Weiting from the Center for West Asia and African Studies participated in the meeting.
