On March 6, 2018, Mr. Nikhil Seth, UN Assistant Secretary-General, Executive Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) visited SIIS.  Mr. Seth gave a speech on Building Capacity for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. SIIS assistant president Ye Qing chaired the discussion and met with Mr. Seth and his colleagues.
