On March 6-7, 2018, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao attended the 12^th Meeting of the ARF Experts and Eminent Persons (EEPs) in Hanoi, Vitnam. The aim of the meeting is to review progress on strengthening preventive diplomacy under the ARF framework and discuss practical measures through which the ARF can enhance regional security. Participants had an in-depth discussion on regional security, disarmament and non-proliferation, maritime security and cooperation.
