On March 23, 2018, SIIS assistant president Ye Qing met with the delegation of the Institute for National Security Studies headed by Dr. Eyal Propper Oded Eran, Consul General of Israel in Shanghai and Brigadier general (Res.) Assaf Orion, senior fellow of the institute. The two sides had a discussion on current situation in the Middle East, Iran Nuclear Issue and China-Israel economic and trade cooperation etc. Prof. Li Weijian, Prof. Jin Liangxiang and Dr. Liu Xin fromthe Center for West Asian and African Studies also participated in the meeting.
