On March 22, 2018, Prof. Yang Jiemian met with the delegation of CFR led by Paul B. Stares, director of the Center for Preventive Action, CFR. The two sides had a discussion on China-US relations. Prof. Shao Yuqun, director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies, Prof. Wu Chunsi, director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Prof. Cai Penghong at the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, Prof. Gong Keyu, deputy director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, and Yang Li at the Center for Maritime and Polar Studies also participated in the meeting.
