On July 16, 2018, João Carlos Ferraz, Former Vice-President of the Brazilian Development Bank, visited SIIS and gave a presentation on the topic of “International Industrial and Technological Cooperation under the Backdrop of Rising International Trade and Investment Protectionism". Prof. Zhang Haibing, Assistant President of SIIS and Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, hosted the event. Members from the Institute for World Economy Studies and the Institute for Global Governance Studies attended the meeting.
